Vision
We want to be a place where your can find fellowship, support, and encouragement as you move into a new phase of life, based on the promise portion of Jeremiah 6:16:
“This is what the LORD says:
"Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and
walk in it, and you will
find rest for your souls.”
We will journey together to:
“ask for ancient paths” by looking into the Scripture and what the Bibles says;
“ask where the good way is” by interfacing older brothers and sisters who have walked before them; and
“walk in it” by applying and integrating these lessons into their lives.
As you are standing at a major crossroads in your life, you have many paths to choose from. We hope that through: bible study, testimony, prayer, and encouragement; that you will be able to choose and walk the path God intends for you!
Goals
This group is designed to be more than just a place to gather—it’s a space for building deep, meaningful fellowship and support. We assume that you, like others here, are navigating a season filled with questions, growth, and new challenges. So from the start, we’re working to create a community of grace—a place where you’ll feel comfortable sharing your hopes, dreams, and struggles, and praying for one another in light of God’s promises.
What You Can Expect to Learn and Do
We’ll spend time together unpacking things like:
What it means to transition well from academic life into the “real world”
How to find God’s purpose in your work or vocation
What faithful financial stewardship looks like
How to start thinking about long-term spiritual growth and service
Getting Plugged Into the Church
Crossroads isn’t meant to be your final destination—it’s more like a launchpad. We want you to meet other ministries, get to know older brothers and sisters in the church, and discover where you might belong. You’ll even take a spiritual gifts assessment to help you identify ways you can begin serving, either now or in the near future.
Throughout the year, we’ll also look for informal ways to connect you with other small groups in the church—maybe by visiting them, or through joint events—so you can find your place beyond Crossroads.
A One-Year Journey
Crossroads is meant to last just one year—and that’s intentional. If you stay here too long, it can actually slow down your transition into full life and ministry in the church. But if you step out, take some risks, and start engaging with the broader body, you’ll have a powerful testimony to share with the next group. You'll also be in a position to guide others just as you were guided.
After Crossroads
When the year ends, we hope you’ll:
Continue meeting with at least one person from the group for mutual encouragement
Join a regular church small group together, and keep growing
Find a place where you can serve with your gifts and time with other Crossroads members that you met.
Trust Jesus more than you did when you first started
This is your next step—not just in church life, but in your walk with God. We’re excited to take it with you.
